Once per Watch, one character must make a Survival check to remain on-course. The base DC is 12, but the difficulty of this check is modified by Difficult Terrain or Extreme Weather.

If the check is failed, the party moves toward a random hex edge, as determined by rolling a d6 (enumerate so that edge 1 is behind the party and the rest move clockwise). Random movement like this continues until a successful navigation check is made, at which point the party begins to move toward their objective again.
